With the NDT Lab Trailer, Big Ridge can provide you with the most complex inspections right at your facility. You no longer need to worry about shipping your widgets anywhere else for inspection, as our mobile inspection allows us to perform FMT and FPT on your widgets at your site.

This eliminates the risk of items being lost or misplaced during shipping. The NDT Lab Trailer is perfect for inspecting small-large batches of machined parts.

Big Ridge Services provides field and shop inspection support for dam, hydro, and powerhouse components throughout the Inland Northwest. Our services include Certified Welding Inspection, NDT, dimensional documentation, pipe mapping, and inspection support for fabricated and machined components. BRS personnel have experience with gates, hoists, servomotors, piping, structural steel, weld repairs, and outage-related inspection work.

Our inspectors are MSHA Underground Miner certified.

We have provided the first of it’s kind, phased array ultrasonic inspections on shaft guiderails in some of the deepest shaft mines in North America.

Big Ridge Services provides non-destructive inspection support for tanks and pressure vessels, including deaerator tanks, boilers, holding tanks, and other pressurized components. Our inspections may include weld examination, seam evaluation, wall thickness readings, corrosion checks, and documentation of visible or measurable conditions. When required, BRS can also work alongside pressure vessel engineers to support certification of conformance and repair planning.

Big Ridge Services provides rail inspection support for rail construction, rehabilitation, and repair projects. Our personnel perform visual inspection and ultrasonic testing of rail splice welds, including thermite welds and butt joints, in accordance with applicable AREMA requirements and AWS D1.5 acceptance criteria when specified.
