Big Ridge Services is a woman-owned inspection company built on technical experience, clear communication, and reliable field execution. Our team provides Certified Welding Inspection and Non-Destructive Testing services across mining, dams and hydropower, fabrication, construction, rail, amusement rides, tanks, and other critical infrastructure.

Our inspectors are certified in multiple inspection disciplines, including CWI, VT, MT, PT, UT, PAUT, structural steel, bolting, and other specialty inspection methods. BRS personnel are qualified under ASNT TC-1A and CP-189 Level II programs, with oversight from an ASNT Level III, and bring decades of combined experience to both shop and field inspection work.

We take pride in providing thorough, detail-driven inspections with documentation that is clear, practical, and useful to our clients. Our team works closely with owners, project managers, fabricators, engineers, and field crews to support quality, safety, code compliance, and long-term asset reliability.

BRS inspectors actively pursue continued training, new certifications, and evolving inspection methods to stay current in a changing industry. Our team participates in the professional inspection community through AWS, ASNT, and SME events, and has contributed technical content to industry publications including Engineering and Mining Journal.
